I came out of the post office yesterday and a guy was taking pictures of my Fury. He asked "Do you think I could.......?" I said "Go ahead, swing a leg over it." He posed on it while his wife took pictures of him.

Nice gesture!

Nice Bayside cool move!
I had the same thing happen here at a 7 Eleven, Dude had a Honda Shadow thought, all mods on it green flames on tank so I let him sit on the Fury!
I never let strangers sit on the bike to worried they would scratch or drop it. Still owe 7k on it.:p:p
similar story. at a stop light. a trucker started chatting me up about the bike as the light turned green. i couldn't shake the guy. got more horns blaring at me than I could count. so many cars going around me that I was stuck next to the stupid trucker.
Cool. I don't let anybody sit on my bike....usually.I have let some returning soldiers sit on it when we welcome them home on a Patriot Guard mission. :D
I have let my brother ride my Fury. He let me ride his Silver Wing Scooter. It was different seeing MY Fury going down the road with someone else driving it. The thing about it is that the scooter has a faster top speed than the Fury since the Fury is limited to 100mph. I have let a few people sit on my bike, but rides are a different story.
Cool stories, I have let one person sit on the bike besides me or the wife, a SGM <Army> from work wanted to sit on it, said it had a good feel to it and said don't anyone let you give you crap about it, it's your bike and it's what you want and what you can afford and not worry about what name is on it/who makes it.
No one sits on Big Blue .. not even the GF! LOL

On a different note. I had a guy come up along side me in traffic ( he was actually in the right shoulder ) just to get a closer look .. and then to tell me " Nice bike, but its too small for you! " Too small for me? I dont think they make a bigger street legal bike for the price of a Fury.
Two of my kids are always jumping on my bike and going for a ride. I never know if I'm coming home to see my bike in the garage with an empty gas tank or looking at one of their bikes. The last time one of my boys took mine out for a ride I asked him to swing by our local Honda dealer and pick me a new inspection sticker. He called me later and said he got the sticker but not to ever ask him to get a sticker for me again. He said he pulled into the Honda dealership and parked right next to their showroom Fury and within minuets everyone within the dealership was around the bike asking him questions about the mods. on my bike that he couldn't answer and taking photos of the bike. He said he couldn't get out of there and was tied up in there all afternoon before they finally pulled the bike around to put on the sticker. I laughed and said to him they are a Honda dealer haven't they ever seen a Fury before and he said not like yours dad.
you may as well get use to it.happens all the time.
I usually get a crowd at the dealership too. Mostly because the sales people drag everybody over to show them what can be done. Helps them sell bikes and accessories.
I was on a long ride with some friends one day when we stop to take a break in a large parking lot. Couple minutes later a car comes speeding across the parking lot with a guy hanging half way out of the passenger window yelling
"Is that the new Honda Fury". He get out of the car, comes over and stands next to my bike. Then says to me "I want to get a black Fury, but, I need to get a job first because I just got out of prison yesterday". I looked at the guy and said "BACK AWAY FROM MY BIKE DUDE!!!"
FDF in action! Fury Delay Factor.
If he had been already on it you shoulda popped him with your helmet like on season 1 of son's of anarchy :)
There are a few pics of my fury floating around with certain people sitting on it. I only let people that have decent bikes (not brand new either, so i know they actually know how to handle one) that seem relatively cool, and people that I know can easily flip the bill if they wreck it. The other night i loaned someone my bike after he said he just had to run to the store and would replace it and hook it up for me if he messed it up (Yes, I know for a fact he could easily buy me a new one possibly one for each day of the week if he wanted).

Much the same at my local dealer, the bike draws a crowd. My dealer is not happy about people sitting on other folks bikes so he keeps it out the back until I get there to pick it up. Furys are in real short supply right now here in Sydney, so my dealer calls me when he wants to show my bike to a customer, I take it out to his dealership and he gives me a $50 voucher each time to spend in his shop. So it's a win - win for everyone. They sure get more attention than a Harley.
Went into 7-11 2 days ago to get some beer, came out and a chick was taking a picture of my bike... "She said it's beautiful, what is it, looks like a custom chopper?" Told her it was a Honda... She looked like she was impressed as shit about that and was even more blown away about the price...

Also, driving home the 3 days ago, guy driving next to me mouthed the words "That is mother f'ing cool, holy shit..." Then gave a thumbs up. Thought that was funny too, probably had no idea it was a Honda.

i love that show.
tde ... is this the same place that was used to film part of the orignal Fast and Furious? Where the 2 main actors were shot eating shrimp on the outside deck?

Im so jealous, yall have such nice places to ride to out there in Cali.
i have one rule. you give me $1000 for my deductible, you can take it for a spin :D

my sisters boyfriend wanted to sit on it last week, so i said sure. then he asked if he could start it up, so i showed him how to start it. he revved it for a bit and then asked if he could ride. i asked him if he had a license, he said 'nope'. i asked if he had a permit, he said 'nope'. i asked if he had 1g to cover the deductible, he said 'nope'. i said 'get off the damn bike then' :p then he tried telling me that he can ride an atv and dirt bike. whatever...

so do i. the dealer likes to use the same paint guy to customize some of their bikes. my painter told them they should use my bike in their store sometime to try and sell more, but the dealer said it was too 'evil' for the locals! (stupid bible belt) :p YES!!! what i was going for HAHAHA! excellent bike by the way Richard!
