Its def a good feeling when you know Harley guys are so Just die hard american made and thats all they know or acknowledge ! Most of them couldn't believe it was a honda .
My one boss is trying to talk me into engine covers and pulling all the honda badging i can off my bike. I was like why, people look at it and like it then see its a honda and think its even cooler since its a reputable brand or are really disgusted by it and shocked so i can make fun of them for being ignorant to the fact its a sharp looking, reliable bike that is just a brand they dont like the orgin of. Then I started my bike and he was like Holy $#it

I took a ride into RI with a Harley riding friend of mine to a Bike show sponsored by a local area Harley dealer. It was a great time with about 1000 bikes on hand 99% Harley. There was some really nice custom bikes and everyday riding street bikes but one guess which bike had a small constant crowd gathered around it for the afternoon. Yes the fury, very interesting and such a site to see the Fury standing all alone with a crowd pointing and talking among themself with all the many Harley's on site.

Though i dont have my seat back yet, I through on a pillow and took my fury down the road to hear the new pipes... pulled in the local gas station where a few (5) 'baggers' were gassing up... they gave me props for being a die hard rider with no seat... and then noticed it was a honda... I dont know if they liked it or not... dont really care... but the look on their face as the checked out the paint scheme and the overall look of the fury was priceless... its like they wanted to NOT like it... but just couldn't help finding the a 'jap' bike appealing...

Was a Good Day!

Harley's have not been an American made scooter since the 70's some of their front end components came from Italy, electronics from japan some are put together in India. The honda goldwing is more of an American made bike than HD.
