I had to take off the pipes to get the front cylinder baffle out. I wish I would have done that in the first place..

Take a old long screwdriver cut a notch in it so it has a hook on it, hook it on the baffle grooves then take hammer a tap rearward on the screwdriver handle and the baffle will slide rt out I try'd the coat hanger but it wasnt strong enough.

I just did mine. I did it with them off the bike. I got them out in about two minutes. 1. Remove set screws. 2. Use a dremel and grind a slot in the bottom of the set screw. 3. Reinstall set screw inside the pipe. Use an allen wrench to support the screw and use the slot to screw in the set screw. 4. I hooked a wire coat hanger over a 4x4 fence post, then hooked the other side of the hanger to the set screw that is inside the pipe. 5. Yank like hell, baffle should pop right out. I did have to wiggle the curved baffle a bit.

I guess that wont help you much since they are already on your bike.
You could get the right thread pitch and a hex head bolt. Hex because it will give some gription to thread in. Get some mirror/picture hanging wire and hook it up to something sturdy, then run the other end to the baffle. Use the weight of the bike to pop the baffle out.

I pulled the rear section of the pipes off and used a 12" 1/2" drive extention and tapped it out.

They are a pain. I recommend using coat hanger and a clamp of some type that you can pound on with a hammer. I used a hanger and sheet-metal vise grips. I did go through 3 hangers. Hope this helps.
I did a combination of these. I ran the engine for a few minutes then used a coat hanger, channel locks and a hammer. They tapped right out.

I'm also having problems removing my baffles on Cobra swepts...
Got the top one out...but had a struggle...Used wire rod, and bent the end to hook the baffle....bent other end around screwdriver and pulled with both hands, placing my left foot on rear tire to keep bike from rolling towards me..
Now the bottom baffle is a B*#@H....same method hasn't worked..I did run bike for a few minutes to heat up pipes...thinking this would expand the pipes some....I had to attach visegrips onto the wire and pull...but no luck yet...
I will let the bike run longer to really heat them up and try again later..

Took me 15-20 minutes I believe. Took an allen wrench and cut a notch in it to hook onto the baffle. Then locked the vice grips to the allen wrench. My buddy had a large screw that fit the end of the vice grips. We took a large weight with the center drilled that could slide up and down, then put some washers and a couple of nuts on the end and hammered it out. Spent most of our time building the “Baffle Removal Tool”

I bent a phillips screwdriver to a ninety degree at the end hung it in the baffle and put a pair of vise grips on the handle and used a hammer to knock it out. I know that sounds a little extrem but that is the only way I could get it out.
