[Texas Fury]

Yesterday i pulled off my side panels and head covers and painted them.The head covers came out great and i added a lil twist to the paint scheme (will post pics after they dry completely),but my side panels pitted (looks like little air bubbles or something). I am not a painter at all so im curious if i have to sand them down completely and re-paint or if i can sand down the spots and re-paint them?Any help or advice is appreciated.

its probly best to sand down and start over.

Might have to pm painter on this, but it was my understand that you rough up the panels with sand paper, primer, sand, primer, sand and then let dry and then spray a light coat of paint, sand, heavier coat of paint and keep doing that until you was satisfied with the results. probably just best to pm painter to find out for sure.

Thats what i ended up doing,they came out ALOT BETTER the second time.Got em drying right now as soon as their dry and i get them back on the bike ill get some pics to see what everyone thinks.

Painter has a sticky on proper steps to paint. Follow every one, no shortcuts with this type of paint.

Yea,learned that lesson yesterday.Did it right today and it looks much better.
