I like what I've seen with some of you painting the side panels (battery covers) but have yet to see them painted on a red fury. Anyone out there done that yet ? If so, I'd like to see a pic or two. Another option would be to take a pic of my red bike and doing a bit of mojo in photoshop to see what it would look like. I'm going to have a custom paint job done over the winter and am concidering including the side covers a paint scheme of some sort and/or having an extra set to be able to switch them out from time to time.

I finally got around to painting the side panels on a photo of a red fury. A quick job in photoshop just to get an idea of what it might look like. Opinions welcomed.

I personally like the painted side covers better than the chrome ones. Its definitely one of the first things I'm going to do to my Fury.

Me too. I have a red fury myself and cant wait to do it..

Yep...that's a Winter project. I also want to do the headlight bucket. I have the Matte Silver but I think the bikes look better with the covers painted.

Think it looks good, blends the panels right into the bottom of the bike's frame... nice actually... can you do a job in metallic silver... just curious as the thoughts in my head have me shaking my head every time I think about painting the side covers metallic silver... lol
