I e-mailed S&S to get a map for aftermarket air intake and cobra swept no baffles as they have offered it for a while . they responded this morning with three different maps . Cobras with and without baffles and fuggin vipers pipes all with aftermarket air intake . After downloading of all three I compared the three fuel tables . All three matched the same fuel tables of dynojets map for stock air and stock pipes . I e-mailed them back with this response I just stated , there reply was , I no nothing about these maps , please contact dynojet and ask them what the deal is . Im sorry ... What the hell , dynojet does not offer any maps without baffles are intake yet . So anyone thinking you got a generic tune for pipes , no baffles and air intake suggest you research your fuel table numbers as I no no one wants to damage there engine are be missled on info . If I am wrong let me know .

So you are basically running with a couple of 100 dollar bills stuck to your fuel injectors that are flapping in the breeze?

nahh, their stock table is tweeked from baseline, Im running the Cobra swept w/ baffles and stock intake. Probably in august going to get full tune on the dyno (80 bucks an hr at my new fav shop The Harley Dealer!!!)

They have a tune on there website [dynojet] for cobra swept with baffles and stock intake . Anyway thats not what my point is .
S&S sent me a map for fuggin viper 2s and S&S intake also. When I opened the map file is was the exact same as the tuned one on power commanders site also. I emailed them about this more than once and never received any kind of response. Don't know what the deal is with S&S, they post that they have maps available and send people something different.
I ment it as the tables your running, If from the Powercommander site are different from stock meaning you dont just have some Benjamin' strapped to the injectors. Dont know what the S&S maps look like, but the 2 from Dynojet are different you have true stock, tweaked stock, and Cobra swept. even if it comes down to it you can tweek the tuning on your own or dyno it to get a better table.

Exactly my point . We have a vender stateing a map for mods thats not true to the mods . I even checked Tonyfury's maps he has posted and there stock performance maps also . Dont no about anyone else , I think its BULLSHIT for someone to do this . Far as Imwright1985 I know how it all works Im the one that cought this . Point is.... You beleive you have a tuned map for your intake and pipes , you have been rideing around putting miles on your bike , all with a stock tune . Bigmikey7351 glade to see someone else understanding what I was trying to say...........

Something doesn't sound on the up and up here.

By the way I take no credit for the maps on my website, they were just a depository for them. I got them from a forum member.

All;

I've said it before, guys, and I'll say it again: get yourself an Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge! Then you'll KNOW (not just guess and pray) whether you're running lean or rich at any point in the powerband and at any throttle settting. You'll be able to observe, in real-time, the effect of any change you make to your Fuel Controller settings. And, you'll eliminate any need to spend time and money on trips to the dyno. What's not to like?

Cheers

Go to RB Racing.com

1) Order the RB RACING #06-1005 Single Display One-Wire Air/Fuel Ratio Kit, with 1-wire O2-Sensor, O2-Bung, and hardware.

2) Order the RB RACING #06-1025 Handlebar Display Bracket , clamp style; Specify 1-1/4" bars.

Talk to Bob at RB if you have questions.

I've included a picture of the Dual AFR unit mounted on my Fury. It turns out you don't NEED a dual; the single unit will work quite nicely.

RB Racing supplies AFR gauges using narrow band oxygen sensors preferably placed near the exhaust port (or use a heated sensor if 18" or more from the exhaust port) which give accurate readings near stoichiometric (14.7:1) but unreliable readings when trying to read rich or lean mixtures. This is good for checking warm idle and cruise mixture.
Conversely, readings taken at 18" or more are suspect; too many things are, or could be, happening in the intervening space, e.g. "after-burn", which skews the read-out.

One needs an integrated design from port to pipe outlet best left to the pros if you can find any

You'll not find any on this forum!

By the way, if you're O2-ing after the merge (as per the drawing), which cylinder are you measuring? In ALL engine development work that I'm aware of, you measure the parameters (EGT, RGA, AFR, etc., with the sole exception of CHT) at or near the exhaust port. Further down the tube, you're necessarily measuring an AVERAGE of the cylinders feeding to that point; great for determining total emissions, but hardly useful for measuring an individual cylinder's combustion efficiency.

Cheers
