Posting Internet Images

geesh those are tricky directions

to insert a image from another web site (page)
Go to that webpage then you can right click and select "Copy image location"
Then come back to your post and select the image icon above and paste the link in the http:// dialog window (Ctrl-v) will also paste..



Doesn't work well with the separate windows that opens pictures...

I have to do it the way Tony said, because the "Paste" option doesn't show up when I try to do it your way.

Has nothing to do with MAC vs PC ..
It's a forums thingy..

While the way Steveo posted his cat, since his cat is an image within the forum gallery it will work every time.
When retrieving a image from a web page, you are linking that web page image to the forums by inserting the image (via link)

also if that linked image is deleted it will go away or if its replaced the new image will show.
similar to way someone uses Photobucket and the images are purged after time..

I use IE, and the pic of the cat with the mouse didn't come from within the forum gallery. I got it from a web page. .....unless you're talking about my avatar cat that Gar posted. I tried right clicking, copying and pasting Gar's avatar of Yoda and still, the paste option did not work. It doesn't matter where I get the image, I can not paste anything directly into this window. I have to use the Insert Image option up above, or the Manage Attachments down below.
