I have a question not pertaining to the torque spec's, I'm just not sure how to start a thread. Has anyone else noticed the chrome "bubbling" up around the bolts on the left sidecase of their Fury? I just bought the Kury engine covers and noticed that the chrome is "lifting" in the valleys where the bolts are mounted. I am going to take it back to the dealer as soon as it quits raining. I was just wondering if I am the only one this is happening to. I hate to dress up the engine only to have the sidecase look like crap. Thanks for any feedback on this.

Mine is doing this too. I havn't taken it in yet, but the dealer said they've seen that before on VTX1300s.

I have another question not pertaining to torque spec's. Is there a trick to getting the left side Kuryakin engine cover on. I cannot get the bolt to line up with the hole on the clutch bracket. Do you use the same bolt that came out of the hole? The picture on the box looks like the factory bolt. The directions say to use a new special head bolt but I must not have gotten that bolt. All of the new bolts that came with it are too small. I'm starting to run short of patience and as hard as it is fighting me, I know I'm doing something wrong. Beer break. ***I figured it out. The special bolt was a spacer bolt. I just had to think about it a little.
