Has any of you using the RAW LED tailight had any issues? Such as shorts on the left side when hitting bumps, wires popping out of the silicone, etc? If so what did you do.

I just had to have the shop fix them last week when the ground wire came out and the right side was out as a result. What happened was the vibration and bumps caused the ground to come out of the silicone seal and break. Now that that is fixed today the left side flickers when I hit bumps.

Snuff... I have had mine since they came out and have not had a single issue... you may just want to get ahold of Raw and have them send you a new light bar. They seem to be good to work with concerning their products... sorry can not be much more help.

Hey snuff,

I have had the same problem, actually just recently one of my buddys that I was riding with told me about it. I had one 'bank' of five led's would flicker as I was riding, yes, on the left side. I couldn't see anything loose so I crimped that bank overnight and that appears to have sorted the issue, although I am not sure unless I go riding with someone....haven't done that yet. If the problem persists I am going to give RAW a shout and see what they can do.

My right side flickers. It's in the assembly since whenever i squeeze it it goes out. I zip tied it pulling the LED strip toward the back of the bike but it's just a temp fix while I'm in Pennsylvania. RAW will be getting a call this week.

I actually had some of the LED's go out in mine just a month or so after I installed it. RAW replaced the light for me, but I'm no mechanic so I had to pay the labor to replace it. I haven't had any trouble with it since.

Hope you get this fixed! This is why I did my own reproduction of the light though, I don't like having to go to the 3rd in line to fix my issues with parts...

at least mine isn't the only one. I'll let you know what they say about mine and you can go from there.
Snuff, I would definitely contact them and let them know what you have been going through with your lights. Any decent company will replace them free of charge and probably want the old ones back just to view them and diagnose the problem them self for a possible design change and to see what they could do to them to help prevent the problem happening to other future sales.. Good Luck!

We'll get it resolved. Sounds like a lose connection. Give us a call and speak to Justin on Tuesday. We just got back from 10 straight days of working the Americade Rally and collapsed from exhaustion. Day of rest on Monday.
