Anyone pulled theirs off yet?

I'm looking into a drive-brake-turn light setup that would do away with the factory brake light and thought i might do a custom cut steel fender while im at it. A friend at work said he was looking for a project to try out their new english wheel and suggested a new fender at no cost to me. And i would really like to help my buddy out!

So if i bring him the bike fenderless, he'll do the rest. Anyone have any input on the removal?

Im thinking of something that curves down to a point, similar to this one; http://www.customflamepainting.com/personal/bbc/11_25_05/001_sm.jpg

Thanks for the pic.

Its just bolts/screws after the seat is pulled? No rivits?
Remove the one rear pad screw, two pull strap screws, and two solo seat screws & remove the seat. Then remove the two reusable plastic rivets in the front of the fender & lift the fender off. This should take less than 5 minuets if you have trouble operating an Allen wrench.
