OK I'm noticing that most of the bikes in these pictures don't have the reflectors on them any longer. What is the best way to remove them? It appears that they are just held on with adhesive, is that correct? Does anyone know what the law says about them being there or not? Thanks for the info!

Brian, run a search on 'reflectors' or 'removing decals' etc.; there are some very long threads from early last summer when most of us where first starting to do this, that cover removing reflectors and decals from almost every angle. Very briefly, a pair of heavy gloves and a little heat from a blow dryer and a slow steady clockwise twist on the reflectors will have them off; goo-gone for the residue and decal removal; avoid tools if you want to avoid scratchmarks in the clearcoat. Lots more details in the earlier threads tho ...

I just got a report of a Fury Forum member with reflectors on their bike. The complaint said and that they were riding the bike in public. Is this true? The only acceptable ride is from the dealership to your garage. After that, it is totally unacceptable. WildBill can’t find a blow dryer, but we are working with a local Walmart to donate one.

I'm sure glad I took my reflectors off so that darn Richard doesn't get on my ass all the time! :D I just bought some new foot pegs for my bike. Can I still be a member of the forum? lol

Bill, you get your ass out there right now and get those reflectors off that bike, or don't you even bother ridin' it anymore. What ever it takes, get 'em off! Use a damn shotgun if you have to and blast the things off....just get those reflectors off the bike!:D
