No Bags?

I'm just not sure why folks are so offended by bags....Put some on mine for longer trips right off the bat along with a front roll under the headlight- leaves enough room for fork play....Work with a pack on my back, so I'm not partial to carrying one on my long rides, especially when I'm packing overnight gear(tent, bag and such). My last long one was Whitehorse Yukon to my place in Stewart, B.C.

One photo with the bags and one with my bike blacked out.
Just my options gents.

I'm not such a good forum contributor- sorry folks...Too much time in the hills and playing and not so much on the box.
I never answered the attachment system- My latest is stainless wire from the rear fender frame to the main axle nut and to the compression bolt on the drive side...Maybe get some photos out....Got a couple other ideas, but need to do some machining of parts to make it work....Maybe in the fall when I get to my buddies shop in Vancouver.
Cheers

Dude whatever tickles your pickle. I would strap it to the seat or on my back. Fork rolls are a must but not throw overs. My opinion thats all no offense.

Half the stuff on here is opinion, like you said, to each there own. I don't think it looks bad, and like John said it's just for trips and when he gets to where he's going he takes them off, at least it's not hard bags that you have to drill holes for, plus he's got a solo seat, only issue I see is that the bags might run the tires, might not be the case but that's what it looks like. Looks good John, rock on!

As everyone is noting, it's all a matter of style.

Many folks probably don't care for my King & Queen Corbin, but it was a must from the wife's perspective if my son was going to ride to me, and I think it gives it a little bit of a 70's feel.

And relative to this bags conversation, I'm happy to have the K&Q seat, because for longer trips--which would only be solo anyway--I can strap a big old bag to the passenger seat and not mess with anything more involved.

And if I fill the bag properly, I get a backrest out of it, too. I did this fairly regularly on my Honda CX500 and my Kawasaki Concours. It's not like I ride for hours leaning back on the bag, but it's a good option in the rotation of riding positions I switch around to to break things up on those longer rides. And when I get where I'm going and through the bag in the room, I'm back to my normal look quicker than quick.

I'm with you Zeusfire69,throwover bags on a Fury just don't look right. There are some nice over-night bags out there, mustang make one called a sunsetter which comes with or without studs.

You do what ya gotta do to get from Point A to Point B.
I have a sissy bar bag for trips. backpacks on a long ride just add to the stress on your back.
and that just sux.(imho, of course)
