Is it just me or does anyone else think the exposed swing arm look that you get from short pipes looks weird on these bikes. I feel that it also draws your attention to how high the rear fender sits above the back wheel as well. J.M.O. I am usually drawn to the shorter pipe styles but from what I've seen offered up so far I may have to change my ways... About 1 week from caving in on some fabricated VTX options.

Pretty well any VTX1300C exhaust will mount up with a fabricated bracket. I have absolutely no regrets about my HardKrome Strippers. They look and sound the way I want. There is a clip on youtube of the Hardkrome Strippers on a VTX1300C they sound exactly the same as my bike. This video is what sold me on the pipes.

Cory, Like your HK's. I think that is about as short and low as I would want to go with the pipes on this bike to keep the lines clean and mean. Still haven't decided what set to get. Was originally thinking about the cobra slash down speedsters, but the strippers look very similar and sound much better IMO. I like the way the V & H big shots come up and cover the rear axle/ swing arm area though - similar to the stock design. By the time I finally make a decision there will probably be something new to choose from and I will kick myself!! @#%@&*

I agree with ya on that one if someone would be able to drop the rear by about an inch or so alot of pipes would look good but it's coming in due time! Honda didn't make it easy with this one!
