Well, I'm gonna get a black fury the first part of December.....been enjoying and learning from everyone's postings but have a couple of questions as I am trying to decide what accessories I want the dealer to put on the bike and I'd sure appreciate ya'lls help.

I saw the posts on the spoilers, but I don't recall seeing anything about turning on and off the led lighting....???? Do they come on all the time or is there a switch for them? Seems to me that the reason for getting the factory spoiler would be to house the lights....for those of you who have the spoiler/led set up, do you like and recommend them?

I was also looking into getting the padded backrest for my wife and maybe one of those detachable buttybuddy things...anyone had any experience with them?

My wife only rides for half hour or so and not too often....she is one of the types that likes to go slow and enjoy the country scenery....45mph is too fast for her to see everything (this from a woman who ran into a pickup with her car while going 7mph and being nosey about what the neighbor was doing in her yard!!!) Needless to say, I don't want to ruin the aesthetics of the bike for her few rides on it....

Sure do appreciate ya'lls willingness to help each other - makes my decision to purchase the bike all that much more pleasurable knowing that not only is it a sweet bike, but there is help here on this forum for just about anything that comes up!!

Thanks,
Bob

I have the Black Fury with the spoiler, accent LED's, and backrest bar and seat for the girl friend.
That seat is uncomfortable on a long ride. Numb..

Just so you know, the back pillion seat requires holes to be drilled into the fender. There is a cover plate purchasable if you ever want to remove it later.

To answer your question about the LED's in the spoiler. Yes they come on with the key same as the lights.
You could easily add a switch since it wires to the fuse box separately.

Here is a picture profile shot with the spoiler and back rest..

Hope that helps

Thanks T,

Nice to see what the bike will look like when I get it from the dealer. I appreciate the heads up on the holes....probably won't remove the back seat though. I'll try one of those butty things for my wife and see how that fairs for her.

Appreciate the response,
Bob
