I just picked up my Spoiler today... anyone else get one yet and install it? From just looking at it, it seems I mount the brackets to the bike then it slips into place only being held on by the collars and pressure. Is that right? The washer and flanged nut do not hold the bracket to the spoiler itself, only hold the collar for the bracket to rest on? ...just seems strange IMO. Unless something is not right *shrugs*

Please note: I am not a mechanic, nor a jack of all trades. :D

Just curious ... what did you end up paying for it? My dealer wants me to pay MSRP.... :(

Also... if you can, please post a pic once you have it installed, as well as details on how the install went.... so i know if i should get my dealer to install it as well (i'm sure he'd be glad to for $80/hr :( :( )

I am going to attempt to install it tomorrow. I was just getting the items that I could pre-assemble done today before I had to leave for work.

I will take pics as I go, and post them. I have a few pics already of the spoiler and some pre-assembly [not much to get together really] , just have to extract them from my phone when I get a chance and uploaded to my photobucket.

I saw one today, it had 2 allen bolts mounted on each side. The LED bulbs were huge also.

Personally, I will be passing on the spoiler, good luck with yours

I think the LED's are a must for the spoiler... I did not notice any caps to plug the damn holes for them in the Spoiler hardware :\ I did not expect the Spoiler to be so light weight I just hope it was worth the $ when its all said & done.

Yea it's plastic, with 2 big azz holes sticking out like a sore thumb :\
They should atleast add caps to plug them up or lable the box with 2 big azz holes, get LEDz to plug them up

HA! Then they would lose revenue since the LEDs cost around $120 :(

Hey Guys, How much did you pay for the Spoiler? We should have our Fury by the end of the month and it's on after that. We will be making a Chin spoiler from top to bottom, front fenders, rear fenders, seat pan, license plate holds, lowering kits, triple trees, controls, shaft drive covers, Pipes, air intakes, you name it we are going to do it. Look for a lot of products for the Fury coming out of LowandMean.com: Custom METRIC Cruiser Parts! in the near future.

Has anyone bought the spoiler and LED kit? I like the spoiler and I bought it, but the LED kit for another 170 bucks? Wow. I'm looking at the bike trying to figure out where they tapped the power for the LED kit. Has anyone installed it and can you tell me where it draws it's power? I'm going to make my own. I mean seriously, LEDs cost virtually nothing I don't understand why this is so expensive.

Ok... got the Spoiler on...and as I figured it is wobbly as all h#11

I feel I will have to take it back off in the future and get some larger washers and nuts to fasten the Spoiler to the brackets for a firmer fit. The way it just sits on the collars is pretty much a crappy design.

Also, I had a hard time getting the screw to line up in the bottom bracket that wraps around the frame tube. Would have been a real pain if I did not have my brotherinlaw lending a hand.

I am sure it will make all kinds of racket while riding..... I will test run it in a bit. Also will put a few pics up aswell.

I put the spoiler on yesterday and used over-sized washers to see if that would secure it a bit. It's still a little loose, but not as bad as it was with the factory install kit. I guess I'm wondering if I bought the LED kit for the spoiler would have helped secure it more? I doubt it but who knows. In any case, it doesn't rattle or shake while riding and I rarely hear my fan kick off anymore. 6 out 10 on my scale.
