A few days ago my bike dripped a little coolant from the rear cylinder after a ride. At first I was concerned that it might be a leaking head gasket but this morning I pulled off the right rear plastic head cover and could see the dried up coolant dribble that was coming from the water pipe at the top of the rear head. Maybe one of the sealing O-rings is bad or improperly installed, don't know.
This is not one of the pipes/hoses that is secured with the screw type hose clamp so there's no hose clamp there to loosen up and leak (which is apparently the cause of many VTX1300 coolant leaks). Didn't leak again on the next ride. I'm going to keep my eye on it and bring it for warranty repair if I see it again... FYI...
