Anyone having any start up issues with the bike stalling out after waiting for the buzz noise and light to go out on speedo for the fuel to be induced. Mine stalls after the 1st push within 5 seconds,,but if i turn my kill switch on,,wait til light and noise shut off then do it again,,it starts. I am wondering if they actually put in the Power Commander FI kit when they installed the cobra street sweeper pipes,,It was on showroom floor with pipes and rims on it. Anyway to tell if a FI kit was installed?

What yyour encountering is not right.. Something is not right...
The way you can tell if a fuel controller is installed, you can remove the air cleaner and check for multiple gray fuel injector connectors behind the breather..
The fuel controller is basically inline between the ECU and the fuel injectors

You can pull the side covers and see if they velcro the fuel controller inside somewhere..

Hope that helps..

Thanks Tony,,yeah im taking it in monday,,wanted to hear if anything that might have come up before seeing im new to this forum,,only had bike a week,,yesterday has been my real 1st day of riding it, I had a 09 1300 VTXT was a beast but loved this blue bike, Im assuming its not programmed right,,once it runs,,i get no issues. Why i asked about maybe because it was cold,,and ive never had a FI bike..But appreciate the help. Ill post what I find out on monday.
Well the Fury is cold nature without a fuel controller. But the cold start is only the first block or two where it cuts out..
Once I added the fuel controller the cold start on take off went away..
Sounds like the cold idle problem others have had, mine went away when I installed the Fi2000 should be able to tell if it is installed by pulling the left side cover and seeing if there is a hot lead coming off the battery to a Fi unit, which should be under the cover somewhere.
Thanks,,I appreciate the help,The dealer told me a power commander FI kit was installed so im hoping a minor adjustment needs to be done,,I have bought 4 bikes from this dealer the owner has always done me right, as he told me the front rim was cracked and offered to swap them out til new ones came in, so I know he wouldnt BS me. I know they have made me get the kits when adding pipes so im clueless on the FI stuff. Im gonna pull the cover off and look
Sounds like an easy adjustment that your dealer can take care of.
I had the same problem before i installed a fuel controller. Be thankful its a Honda. If it was a Harley ud be payin $2200 for them to say "its a Harley. Itll work itself out"
Well,,using what you guys told me,,before I set out on my 86 mile ride today to Fort Macon NC, I pulled the left side cover off and to my avail was a FI 2000 fuel controller, so I was happy, so I now know that my dealer has always told me the right stuff,,so the bike just needs a minor adjustment im sure of maybe a little more fuel on start up,,there were 3 little dials under the flip cap on the controls. I had my bike wide open at 65 today was a beast,,man it rored down the highway,,was 65 here today great day to ride,,so tommorrow Ill take it to the dealer for an adjustment knowing I dont have to spend any money,,lol
Rims,Pipes,FI2000control module, sissy bar, windsheild so far, waiting on my Irate grill and decals to come in along with my front spoiler. I have a photo album thats public on my profile, the rims that were on it were cracked so i made them replace them,,Should be here this week,,only had the bike 7 days
