Is anyone having difficulty applying the lock on the steering column? Sounds funny and seems simple, but I can't get this thing to lock - is there a trick I'm missing? My Fury manual is locked up at work - can't get to it right now to check if I'm not doing something correctly. Never had a problem with previous bikes I've owned.

that worked for me.
On unlocking - I have to pull slightly on the key otherwise the key doesn't really pop out on its own.

Turn bars all the way left, turn key counterclockwise then push in on key, wiggle bars slightly back and forth while pushing on key, key and lock mechanism should recess into frame approx. 1cm and bars will be locked. I had service tech show me at 600 mile service !

larry i found out years ago,if someone wants that bike all the steering locks in the world want help.besides if you need to make a quick getaway its a pain to get unlocked and her old man may be right on your butt.LOL

I took me a day or two as well, It doesn't exactly lock on the stops, does it.
