Are these ....furys "softtails???????or fill me in if you would.

Technically "Softail" is an HD trademark, they are kind of backwards to this as the shocks are underneath the bike and work opposite of a standard shock, compression is when the softail shock is being pulled apart. This is a mono shock type set up.
