Hi guys. I found the forums here and thought that I may as well introduce myself! I hope to pick up my Blue Fury on Tues or Weds after we get through this Independence day weekend. Although I've been riding for many years this will be my first experience with a V-Twin. I am trading in my 07 Kawi ZX6R. I have found that I am just not as flexible as I used to be, and after tearing my MCL last year, I am not enjoying riding the Ninja too much anymore. Sure I love the high speed high RPM blasts, but it's time to let go. That being said, I have several friends who ride cruisers who have been educating me on the cruiser world. My one friend in particular, who has a Big Dog Chopper has been a big influence on me too. Well, every Honda I have ever owned has been bullet-proof (04 599, 06 Civic Si, 03 Honda Rancher, my kids CRF 150) and I love the look of the Fury. I have been looking at them on the web for a couple months now, checked out a Burgundy one at the Dealer in Erie too, but I had kinda decided to get a Sabre. I like the pro street look too, and I thought it might not be as big of a change coming from the sport bike. I couldn't get the deal I wanted from the dealer in Erie so I checked out my local dealer, who told me they have a used Blue Fury that was only a couple months old, was sold by them, and was then traded on a car. So I'm going for it. The money numbers all work out, so I'm waiting on two things. 1). They haven't picked the bike up yet (it was a good customer of theirs) so that I can check out the condition 2). Gotta hear back from the bank, but I anticipate no issues there. So hopefully in the next couple days I will be sitting on a Blue Fury and riding much more comfortably. Maybe I'll get lucky and the previous owner will have already sprung for some Cobra Swepts! lol. Anyway, thanks for the intro, I hope to get to know a lot of you better and learn more as I enter this side of the bike world!

Yes, it's hard letting the Ninja go, I have had so much fun riding AND modding it, but it is time. I am sure I will love riding the Fury even though it will be an adjustment. But it's time to smell the roses on the way. Here's a pic of the out-going Ninja if anyones interested. I'm sure more will be interested in the Fury once it arrives :)

Diggin the Monster

Welcome to the forum. Gotta say the Ninja looks pretty sweet with the Monster stickers! My wife sells Monster and I'm trying to work the logo into my bike..........when I get one that is.

Sorry, I don't get it. Thanks for the welcome!
See, everyone here knocks on the other guys for not having the Blue Fury. WE ALL KNOW that Blue is the nicest, but none the less we all still try and one up each other. I was simply suggesting by one upping a fellow Blue that yours may have a turbo installed. Think of it as me trying to boost ( no pun intended ) over the fence.

BTW ... there is no turbo kit out for the Fury, yet.

Welcome......now enjoy the ride.
BTW: Don't pay too much attention to the riders of the blue, red, silver or black Fury. We Matte Silver riders know that our bikes are so fast that those shiny colors won't even stick to it. :D
