How do you replace hand grips on the fury?
Point of no return, you have to forget about the stock grips. They are glued onto the pipe on the clutch side and the plastic throttle sleeve.
Just don't cut real deep on the throttle side..

Kuryakyn ISO grips were two different sizes and noted it. The throttle side was a larger diameter (to slide over the plastic throttle sleeve). Not to mention the glue is very fast acting...

If you really want to keep the stock ones the idea in the link works, I use brake/carb cleaner sprayed into the grip, melts the glue and they slide right off.

I have a pair of custom grips that my buddy had made for a vtx.

When throwing your grips on there - did u have to unscrew the ignition plate to connect the grip ignition grooves into the housing?
Nope never had to mess with the control's. Used a razor knife and cut the old ones off. Used sandpaper cloth to clean up the old glue. Applied the new glue inside the new grips and slid them on.. Let dry.. done

Since added the ISO throttle boss

Do you screw on the end caps or are they one piece?

I just bought some grips from XOPRODOX. It did not come with glue, but threadlock for the mini allen head set screws. Does anyone recommend I add glue to the handles? If so where do I get it from?
