I'm finally breaking down and getting some pipes and a controller. For those of you who have the fuggin reapers and fuggin controller, can you tell me what you think about them? Are they so loud the wife might b#%ch on long rides? I'm looking for a deep tone at idle and a good loud deep sound on acceleration with no popping on decel.....I know this subject has been brought up in the past and I'm well aware of the search function on this forum....but I figure this is a discussion forum and would like ya'lls take on them or your favorite aftermarket pipes since you've had a chance to get more riding with them since you got them.....

Also, I'm curious as to whether or not any of you actually are disappointed in your pipe selection....you can pm me on that subject if you like...

I'm seriously going to get some pipes and would hope that I'd get some good candid feedback on here....believe me, it would certainly be appreciated.

Thank you,
Bob

As you probably already know, I have the Fuggin Reapers and controller, but I don't have them installed yet. Still waiting for the weather to warm up some here in Baltimore. I've had them since early January and am getting really anxious. This weekend is supposed to be sunny and in the 50's. If that holds up, I'm going to try to get them on. If I do, I'll be more than happy to let you know how they sound. I don't know if I'm just missing it or not, but I don't believe I've seen any pictures yet of any forum members who have them. For certain they are not nearly as popular as the other two styles from Fuggin. I like them because they are kind of old school.

Sundance, Dang long winters!!!!

Senor Gar, Yes, thanks, I did listen to them but the sound over a computer isn't realistic imo. I did call Doug and he seemed to be very candid. He told me that of all of the fuggin pipes, the reapers were the deepest - primarily because of their length.....of course, with your ViperX or L or whatever it is in production, that would change as I'm sure the longer 2 into 1 pipe would have a deeper, richer sound......but I'm like Sundance, I prefer the old school feel......

I appreciate ya'lls input!!!!
