Actually, you probably could. But you need to look carefully and realistically at your projected Return On Investment. Guys making this modification out in their garages are not likely to voluntarily send you a royalty payment. And if Honda decided it was a good/worthwhile change for the Fury, they'd be most likely to redesign the whole rear frame of the Fury, thereby side-stepping your patent. The little-guy seldom wins the patent game, especially where large, well-healed corporations are involved. Being RIGHT can also be quite EXPENSIVE when it comes to litigation; i.e., "I won, but now I'm dead broke!"
