If I'm running erands and need to carry stuff I put it in a Timbuk2 messenger bag. Otherwise I put necessities like freway rx goggles, small cable lock to secure jacket and helmet to bike and a crushable LLBean touring cap in a small belt pack. But sometimes, not always, I want to carry a few extra doo-dads. So I got this fancy-dancy tool-bag. To me the beauty of chopper styling is the minimalist aesthetics. The bag on the front of the forks looked like a tumor. Behind the forks on the frame it ate up that beautiful empty space that gives the Fury that special chopper look. Tools? Hondas don't break and if it does cell phone+credit card+AMA tow service obviates tools. So I went down to WallyWorld and got another belt pack for five bucks and shortened the strap. One second to mount or remove as needed.

I'm running two tool bags on mine and ya, the one above the headlamp isn't the best look, but it works real nice for quick grab things. The lower one is an old bag off my 81 rigid project that covers up the damage I did to the plastic radiator shroud unloading from my trailer, but it carries tools and tie downs- Around here there ain't no cell service and the nearest town could be a couple hundred miles to nothing but a phone, maybe, so I gotta pack some gear to help out....It works.
Cheers
