Touring with an extra tank of gas

Going on a trip with a 410km (255 mile) stretch between gas stations. Hopefully this will do it!

3.7 liter (1 gallon) Rotopax, 7.6 liter (2 gallon) Giant Loop gas bag and a 2 liter (1/2 gallon) Touratech fuel canister in a 5.11 Tactical pouch.

Usually only need the 2 liter filled for emergencies and the Rotopax for more remote areas. The gas bag can be rolled up for all but the long stretches.

If this works, the Fury could do the Dalton or the Dempster if gravel isn't a concern! :concerned:

Think I'll continue to avoid gravel if possible though.

I think you're good on fuel, but you may not have enough carabiners to make the journey ;)

Not sure I'd want to run the Dalton or Dempster on a Fury... aren't those major trucking routes used primarily in the winter?

I think he found a good one! He knew her before he left, she waited for him and then joined him for the last couple of years and they are still married and living in California. Be hard pressed to find a woman like that today!:D
Nope, can't possibly be true... nobody "lives in California" and is a 'good one'

Shame that CA is a basket case these days. I see images of the homeless in places I know well and it depresses me. I'm planning a trip to the US early next year and I will be spending time in the Bay Area. Where I used to live in Union City should be OK. But if the family want to do some tourist stuff up in San Francisco I will have to think about it carefully. It's no wonder all my friends from CA moved to AZ.
I look at all my ex-coworkers who have become friends and live in CA. I second guess their intelligence for choosing to stay. Newsom is a POS... and they have collectively voted for all the socialistic laws that that drown them to their collective deaths...

I can't help but discard them as "losses to the Darwinian effect"

As far as I am concerned as a Texan (first), American (second), they do not exist as human beings, but rather a lower life form willing to choose in one way or another, a lesser lifestyle where human rights are suppressed - The Consititution is merely a suggestion, choked, and otherwise prevented from reaching the pinnacle of lifeblood which used to be or once was (in those counties) an American. Most of them are confused because they cannot explain why they have given up basic human rights because of lesser topics such as gender bending and mental incapacitation...

If I lived within the borders of that god-forsaken land (coming from an Atheist, that is a deep insult), I would have already waged a personal and violently bloody war on the establishment ruling the pedestrian neanderthals choosing to live withing the boundaries of the Commifornia nation.

mic dropped.
