whats the best way to tie the fury down on a trailer?
Ratchet straps, placed as close to the root of the handlebars as possible. Angle straps away and down; 45º, if possible. Use rear foot-peg brackets to attach straps in back.

Cheers

Trailered the Fury 2200 miles

Hey I went to bike week, trailered the Fury from IL to FL, and back. Rented a 6X14 trailer and modified it for two bikes. Went 2200 miles with no problems.
I was told by a Harley Mech, who transports bikes daily, that he repairs, NOT to put any straps on HANDLE BARS. It will ruin the BUSHINGS for the handle bars, at the tree, HIS WORDS.
Rather,
We used chock for front wheel,
Strap at middle of triple, between the two main cross of tree. Make sure you have good sharp S ratchets so they dont pop out of strap at tree, or D-rings.

Now the rear of the Fury:
I strapped from underneath, take your tie down nylon strap, fish thru fender and rear frame. This way you can pull down and stabilize rear. This is important on bump and sharp higher grade turns that will rock bike around.
JUST MY ADVICE.

Good luck...

Well when we towed up to the Chopperfest in Ventura, I strapped all three bikes down on the lower triple tree but did not compress the forks to much... none of us had a issue since. I also have to agree though with strapping the rear end some how... both mine and RSS where bouncing around, but when we put TF's on I had to tie our bikes apart and that was just on a road with normal bounces... they got close but the straps kept them apart.
