Trying to find the right exhaust is exhausting

Like many of you, first thing to go on the Fury is the exhaust. I've seen lots of videos on Youtube to see what kind I want but can't make a decision. Basically, I want the loudest and most obnoxious system out there. I've got a brother-in-law with a new HD Nightrain with short shots that sound friggen awesome..he bugs me about mine and I gotta change that soon. I can't be outdone by and HD. I've seen the V&H with the fat pipes at the end (seems to sound good but looks like the stock Fury exhaust), seen all the Fuggin products (I like the Mayhem and the Viper II's looks). I like the look of the swept Cobras but not loud enough.

I guess I want something that looks cool and ensures that people here me coming. Any suggestions?

Fuggin's Mayhem's or the Morton's are the two loudest as neither one has the baffles, make sure to get a Fuel Controller, unless you like backfiring....
Have you heard the cobras with no baffles? Mine sounds nothing like it did last year with them removed.
IMHO there is a Blue Fury ( SnuffDog? ) on YouTube with the baffle removed, and it sounds like a HD to me.

I just wish to hell that Cobra would make the black ones already, and the intake too. Im gonna end up having the bike, and no aftermarket goodies to install when i get her home.:(

Thought they had the black one already, or is it just an additional feature that you have to pay for?

Guessing they sound a lot like mine now, as mine were twice as loud as cobra's with the baffles in. Morton's and Fuggin's on the other hand, were twice as loud as mine with little to no work involved. Just needed to watch the legs is all...

someone had mentioned a Ebay seller who has the best prices around on the Cobra products. I contacted him last week about the black swepts and the black intake along with Fi2000. He told me he could get all and do a great price, but that the pipes and intake were all on back order, hoping to ship by the end of this month!
I have the cobra swepts without the baffles , there pretty loud . But I havent heard the others nor seen them , far as that goes havent seen any fury's on the road with aftermarket pipes , so I cant compare .
My choice was the Viper 2's from Fuggin and if I had it to do over again, I would buy the same ones. The sound is great, the pipes are out of your way (no burns on you leg) and they are very good quality. ;)

I agree with Painter; the V2's were my first choice and when the damn bike's finally back together I'll give you my opinion of looks/performance. However, since ordering the V2's I saw these from Hacker posted by a user here; imho they rival the V2's and are absolutely killer lookin'. Also, they are 18 gauge steel, which is amongst the best I've heard of (2nd to Fuggin' which uses 16 gauge):

Metric at Other exhaust
i have only personally heard the stock, and my jardines on the fury. heard a roadstar i think 1300 w/ cobra swepts and it was really quiet compared to my bike, fired my fury up and the guy was insisting i had no baffles, then showed him you can see the baffles and he wants to check other mfg's now for new pipes for his yami. my bike also drowns out every harley i have seen except one with custom pipes that amounted to a megaphone.

Thanks Stonewheel (from one trucker to another) and everyone else who replied. I think I've made my decision..well..kinda. I'm gonna go with either the V2 or the Hacker (the black pipes with chrome heat shields are kick ass..as long as they sound good..I'm sold). I've got a black Fury and keeping a relatively black theme except for the chrome engine. I'm spending some serious coin on the rims..I'm purchasing the RC Components black powder coated "slash" rims..so I didn't want to cover the rear wheel up with exhaust. Another deciding factor was the fact that I own a motorcyle rider training company. I toyed with the idea of no baffles for some of the other exhausts but when you come riding up to the course and start preaching to students about laws, safety, etc, you kind of become a Benedict Arnold. I don't know what the laws are like in other places but where I live, baffles are law which I have major issues with. The more louder you are, the more the public is aware of your presence, the more they are aware of your presence, the safer ride you have...to me its defensive driving 101 but law enforcement sees it otherwise. Kinda like having big stacks and using your jake, eh Stonewheel?

Thanks again everyone!!

Stonewheel;

You do know that 16 gauge steel is THICKER than 18 gauge, right? Just checking..........

Cheers

You just gotta learn where you can ride with loud pipes, I know if i go to palm beach island i will get a ticket and have to push my bike across the bridge or get it towed (even with baffles) Juno Beach I will get a single ticket each time i go through the city. different areas if they stop me and i say i was keeping it quiet (politely) they ask me to get on it a little and hear how much louder it is so they know i was being honest and that its just there for performance and incase someone needs a little wake up call while im riding

Yep. Which is why I lauded Hacker for it's 18-gauge which is very good, 2nd only to fuggin', which uses 16-gauge; one gauge better. Did I say it funny?

No, Stonewheel, you didn't SAY it funny, I READ it funny. My bad. Must be the thin air up here. Let's see now, where'd I put my meds................

Cheers
I have actually ordered the Roadhouse Lightning Duals Exhaust....

IMO the Cobra Swept look too long for the Fury and looks a bit odd and don't sound too agressive enough for ME especially at idol... This is MY opinion, don't get offended peeps.. :) I'm sure there are people that don't like the lightning duals..

That's the reason I opted for the Lightning Duals, the length of pipes look right, not too long and look just right on the Fury and finish at the rear axle. The diameter of the exhaust are larger and give it that tough look.. They sound pretty crazy too...

I have actually seen and heard them both in real life and the difference is quiet significant with the baffles on both systems...

As stated this is MY opinion and the reasoning behind my choice..

Below are some links of pics and sound clip..
