Well dropped off my bike last night and picked it up today after having my blk swepts and pcv installed... Sounds and rides awesome... Cost 170... Not too bad I guess, if I attempted it I probably woulda caused 1500 worth of damage...lol but serious.. Have the kury engine covers and I am gonna attempt it this weekend tho I heard they can be a b.t.h... My question is I have the chrome dip stick, got with the kury ec last night UPS.. Is that dip stick safe? Was checking it out won't the threads in time(taking on and off) grind together and cause chrome shavings to get into the oil etc? Don't get me wrong it's a nice looking part but was just curious before I put it on... ( and yes I think I can pull off that installation... Lol... Lastly I've been using my iPhone since I've been on this site so I can't post pics etc, even tho I'd love to... Can send to email only for the next month or so, thx all

It's a Honda... Not like your checking the oil every ride..

Mine's been in about a year now.. hasn't been a problem..

Yeah doesn't seem to bad to install the pipes and FC if that's something that you didn't feel comfortable doing, although from everything I have read the hardest part is getting the old gaskets out and getting a seal on the new ones. You should have just hit Dave up since he's in Boston I believe and bought some beer and I'm sure he would have helped you out. I have never heard of anyone else having any issues with the chrome dip stick so I doubt you will, I'm sure we would have seen a thread with someone saying that it was an issue with those dip sticks. Good luck with the rest of the installs.

Both of my bikes have chrome dipsticks, never a problem, but they only come out for oil changes. I don't know what the labor rate is but we charge about 2-3 hours for pipes and jet kits, a little less for FI

I'm not sure what the concern with the chrome dip stick is I've changed them out on all my bike and have one now. Is it the threads that concern you? I can't see any issues unless you have a bad compulsion for screwing and even then I think you got a better chance of going blind from the shine. Good Luck!

Was just checking, good question I thought lol... Maybe I,ll put a condom on the threads.... Screw it that way. Lol... Anyone from Pittsfield? Sell it to them for 20$.. Gonna stick with the black to match the swepts
