I just received my C&C Fury seat. Very comfortable. But, the stock version of the Fury sport tour seat (with the full pillion) pulls me back from the handle bars to the point where my risers are useless and I am reaching for the bars--again!
Plus, I hate that the pillion tab used to bolt to the rear fender sticks out 1.25 inches and is exposed.
My problem, though, is with the vendor I purchased the C&C seat from: American Side Road Cycles.
Perhaps they follow this thread. I alerted American Side via Email and voice mail two days ago that I needed an RMA and haven't heard from them since.
I resent my notifications again yesterday. I cc'd C&C and Chuck mentioned that he'd seen the Email.
btw: Chuck at C&C has been cool from the start; he can fix this with the lumbar add-on of a few inches. But, I'd like the RMA from American Side and then I can change to a single rider seat and not have to deal with the pillion tab issue. That's where I need the RMA; I need the full refund, less stocking fee, so I can start a new order.
So, here's my public shout-out to James at American Side...hear me now and respond. Lots of folks read these posts, James.
