Hey guys just wanted to know what you thought about the viper 2 exaust??? Loudness? You like what you paid for? would you suggest getting viper 2 or another exhaust?

Had mine for a couple weeks now. They look great, sound mean and nasty. They are quite loud when you get on it, but reasonable when soft on the throttle. One problem with the configuration is you'll have to take them off if you need to get the timing cover off.

Overall, I'm very happy with them. I cant compare to any others cause I havent seen any other furys up my way.

What's the status of Fuggin these days? Are they now back up and running regular? Anyone bought anything from them recently? Just curious.

I have the V2 also and love it. I did order the heat shields to get rid of the unsightly bluing. Sound is great, pipes are not leg burners and IMO are great fitting and easy to install. I also wonder about Fuggin.

I have the v2s and couldn't be happier. The sound is deep and reasonably loud, not stupid loud. They also look tough, but you already know that!

I cant say enough about the V2s. I absolutely love them. They way they look, sound and over all perform. The sound is that of a Harley IMO. I have a friend with a VTX with the Vance & Hines ... and mine is louder and better then his. He hates to admit it ... but i can just tell.

Price is a little higher. Check out my write up in the Fuggin forum and get the sellers web site.

BTW .... Kelly ( Fuggin ) Emailed me a couple weeks ago to tell me that he was increasing production across the board to get his stock back up to where it should be.

thanks for the replys guys! The V2's look good and fit the idea of what im going to do to the bike. i just was really wondering if they were loud or not!

Not sure what's up with Fuggin. ryguy has been trying to get a refund for almost a year now. They are really giving him the run around. I bought products from them earlier this year and had no problems.

So cobras with removed baffels are louder than v2's???

If baffles removed louder, but less performance. Viper 2 best of both worlds,love the increased performance.

IMO yes, but the difference in sound is not big enough to cause you to choose the Cobra’s over the v2’s. If I had it to do over, I probably would have gone with the vipers.

My DOT half lid didnt help with the deafness. The deafness is nice while the GF is blabbing about who knows what. With the full face one and the shield down, i can still hear the V2s like i was wearing the half.

thanks for the info richard. I really admire the work you have put into your bike and you seem like a real nice guy that always does your best to give you honest opinion or help in any way you can. I thought about the cobra's long and hard but my modding is going to consist of poder coating the wheels black, engine black, and i like the V2's in black better than the cobras and think it gives the fury more of the chopper look im going for! I was gonna do the 250 mod as well but have to put it off a yr pro due to financial reasons

wish money grew on trees!!! haha

lol have you tried listening to an ipod or MP3? have heard a ton of good things about skull candy headphones! suppose to be like ear plugs!!!

you really want a laugh .. i dont own or know how to use an Ipod or MP3! I hear they are great.

What kills me, i pay $150 or something close for satellite radio, that i dont use now cause im riding the bike everywhere.
