Well, just received the first L&M front fender and let me tell you... the fiberglass is still fresh from the mold.

Anyways, I have some initial reviews of how it looks and some pictures.

#1: This really hugs the fender and can't wait to see the Reaper Fender painted on the bike! (either by me or somebody else)

#2: The fender looks awesome! They did a great job on the fender and it compliments the bike.

#3: Easy to install, just have to take your time installing it to make sure it is even on the bike. Follow the instructions and the only detour I would make is tightening it on the brake side first, then the pipes side... seems to pull a little bit more on the pipe side when you tighten that one down first.

#4: Only took about 20-30 minutes to install it! Was pretty simple, if you don't have any loctite, make sure to use some lock washers.

#5: MAKE SURE IT IS ON STRAIGHT AND CENTERED BOTH FRONT AND BACK! When I first put it on, because I was in a hurry, it was definitely crooked in the back and was slightly touching the tire. I quickly loosened it and corrected it, again, follow my advice from #3.

#6: Try not to over-tighten it, but make the bolt tight, then give it another half turn to a full turn.

Now for the pictures:

I will post my initial ride reactions in a couple of days when I have had a chance to ride around town a little bit over familiar territory.

Real Nice!

I'd make sure you have enough clearance at the bottom of fender and the road, my brother put a fender on his bike simular to this one and it hit the back bottom edge just going out the drive way onto the street. He had to take about an inch off and was fine, he also had a problem with the narrow speed bumps by his girlfriend's apartment complex,

L&M said it will not hit the ground.
I think I want that in writing. There actual quote was. "will not hit the ground in normal riding conditions." What are normal riding conditions?

Well, so far I have taken it on the highway & over about 8 speedbumps, one of which I have scraped my frame on... all good so far, as I said... I will report more later... it is just a visual review, be patient!!!

It comes in gloss black. My Fury is black. Maybe I won't have to get it painted! It certainly looks like it will keep a lot of junk off the radiator. Looks plus a very practical imporvement. I just may violate my promise not to spend any more money on bike stuff before winter.

I knew this would come up, so I cleaned my grill last night to see how much stuff actually got on the grill... I will report on this situation as well when I do my ride review... :)

Normal riding conditions are defined as: No off road riding, no Supercross tracks, no curb hopping, no wheelies, and stay away from HUGE pot holes that the front tire would drop into.

We have been running 3" clearance on our Raider front fenders for over a year with no issues, This Fury is 3.5" clearance. We have a Lifetime warranty on our products. Yes we do stand behind our products and that's in writing!

Glad you guys like it, because it was a lot of work to build the Honda Fury front fender. Honda Fury Reaper front fender

I have to chime in here and tell you that my husband has one of the first Long Reaper Low and Mean front fenders on his Raider and has never had trouble with it. I have purchased the Fury fender and it is at the painters as I write this. I can't wait to get it on the bike. Low and Mean has a flair for customizing bikes and they do stand behind their products! Thanks for showing those who are not familiar with their products just how cool the front fender is. You beat me at the pictures, but perhaps I'll be the first with a painted Low and Mean fender installed! LOL!

Yea, it is a totally cool fender and looks much better in person than it does on a camera. Anyways, you'll probably beat me to the painting as I am going to be painting my whole bike... Can't wait to see yours Dragon and thanks for chiming in!
