Noticed I was getting whining on the speakers with the music off. Took everything apart and found it was the RCA-Y cables. I went with the four channel amp just in case I decided to add more speakers in the future. With two channels active, no loop back noise. With the RCA-Y splitters going into all four channels, I was getting whining. Problem was I needed all four channels for full wattage output. Tried all kinds of things, but in the end the solution was to add ground loop isolators between the RCA-Y splitters and the amp.
There's no room in the compartment for anything else, so I shrunk the loop isolators along with an aluminum plate in heat shrink. Used alfa lok velcro to fix it to the inside of the fork mount out of the weather.
Good to hear. chasing down gremlins can be tiring.
And we can call the adoption complete. I thank you very much sir. seems smaller than I imagined it would be which is a good thing. Looks much better in person than in pics. I'm exited.
