Big blunder on my part.. a while ago many people chimed in on a thread about the Kury engine cover. Many even went well out of their way to display pictures to help illustrate how nice it is/was and what a wonderful addition it was to their bike.
Thank you to everyone on that thread. All of you helped me make the decision to buy it.
I received it at work, opened the box and it was like staring at the Holy Grail. I even think I heard angels singing as I opened the box.
It was beautiful, in all of it's chromey glory. I could hardly wait to get home and slap it on my bike. Giddy as an adolescent boy who just squeezed his first boob, I ran home opened the box and started planning the application of the case..... and that's when it happened.
I realized that I have the Fuggin Viper2s and this Kury engine case was designed for the stock exhaust which runs behind the clutch case and not in front of it. This kury design leaves a large area where the blingy casing doesn't cover the dull grey engine.
I went from absolutely euphoric, to suicidal in about 3 nanoseconds.
Desperately I've been looking for a solution and I may have found one but I don't know if it'll fit.
Kury has a clutch housing shroud for the VTX1800

Which may take care of my problem:

I'm just wondering if anyone has an VTX1800 or if anyone knows how I can find the clutch cover circumference to determine if this kury shroud will fit on the Fury.
By the way, if this doesn't work out I'm selling the kury casing.. <sniff sniff>
