Looking for someone's Swept baffles to play with, to cut down or modify.
There's no shortage of advice on how to do this but I'll add my two cents. I initially removed the entire baffle but did not like the quality of the sound and had too much popping so I cut it and put a one-stage baffle back in.
I drilled and tapped a 3/8" inch hole which made it easy to reinstall the baffle with a piece of 3/8" all thread which I also used as a slide hammer to get the baffles out. A nut on the all thread and some WD40 made it easy to turn the baffle when reinstalling to align the set screw. See photos.
After installation I have an extra 3/8" hole in the baffle. Love the new sound and no more popping. Definitely louder than the full baffle.
