Figured I would start a thread where everyone could tell about their Weekend riding experience.
I live just outside Tampa FL, and definitely not a weekend warrior. Ride my Fury almost everyday (if weather permits). But on the weekends, the wife, & friends like to get together for longer destination rides.
This weekend was Bike week at this town center. We rode up in a small group, hundreds of bikes total, with tons of vendors & spectators. As we pulled in I was so wishin that I had my exhaust already
but the Fury still got PLENTY of attention. Parked right next to a Big Dog,
a few bikes down from my Honda dealers booth (who later asked me to pull the bike in their booth for them to show). Crowds gathered around MY FURY instead of all these customized HD, Big Dogs, and others were parked right next to me, it was great! There were some people who knew exactly what it was, and others had no idea and asked the o so common question "who built it/what it is?" I just smile and say its MY custom chopper
After that we took a 200 mile ride down the coast & beaches (definitely had the knub ass syndrome kickin
). Was picture perfect weather out, and the bike was lookin and running AWESOME! Turns heads at every traffic light, and beach strip we drove. Was riding with my friends w/a wide variety of bikes, but all of them jealous with the attention I get on my bike, and the performance when we all open the throttle up a little. All in All, was an awesome biking weeking, rode non stop seemed like since I took the bike to work the last 5 days
