Someone gave me a pile of scrap metal and this piece just happen to be the thickness that I liked. looks like regualar sheet metal to me and I had it cut to size by a press and didn't find out it was titanium until we went to smooth the edges. I sparked bright white which is a sign of titanuim. Talked to coulple of welders and they said the weld has to be in an oxygen free enviorment by having argon as a shielding gas. I live in a small town and no one has welded titanium before.
