For those of you with fuggin fuel controllers and fuggin pipes, what air intake system are you currently using? Did you have to readjust the controller to tweak the mixture?

I'm looking to change from stock air intake. I know at Fuggin's site, they say they dynoed with their pipes, their controller and the accutronix adapter, but don't say what type of intake they used to test with........

Thanks for any help,
Bob

Haven't had time to make my post about this, but just ran out during break time to get you these settings, I am also using the D&M slotted spike... :

Try these settings on your FC:

Mode 1: 4
Mode 2: 4
Mode 3: 4
Mode 4: 3.5,8
Mode 5: 5, 6, 8
Mode 6: 3, 8

Write down what they are now, so you can adjust back to them if you need to if something doesn't work quite right.

NOTE: Still playing with it, but it is better than default for MBL settings...

Man James every time I see that spike of yours I get a woody. That is a one really nice looking setup. I ordered my L& M adapter today and now I'm wondering what kind of adjustments I am going need to make when using the spike intake with Fi 2000 controller with cobra pipes with the baffles in. I guess it will be a matter of just playing around with it. Do you think there is a dramatic difference of air intake using the spike verses the stock set up?

Richard, Have you every got caught in the rain and if so how did it work out. I don't plan on riding in the rain but I have been caught unexpectedly a few times in the rain and just wondering how the spike with the rain sock works out under that type of condition.

I have never been caught in the rain so far. Last Saturday, I did leave the house and thought about it. If it’s a close call I will put the sock in my pocket.

Man, ya'll have some sweet looking rides!! I'm kinda leary on the fuggin set up. Although the setup looks fine, I don't know if I want to contend with a sock and don't know how the sock affects things in the rain?????? Same for the spikes....I'm like Dave though....that's a nice looking spike....

I like the hyperchargers too....Salty, how does it fair in a rain? Does it suck in the water or do you have some sort of permanent rain protection under it? Does oil on the filter prevent water from going in?

I'm leaning toward an S&S teardrop like yours Tony.....what adapter did you hook it up to? From what I've read from Accutronix and Fuggin, if I used the S&S, I'd only need the accutronix adapter as the S&S would hide the ugly wires behind it - correct??????

I still don't know which intake Fuggin used to dyno.....I believe they did it on Predator's bike, right? If so, Predator, did they use an S&S, or did they just have the adapter on and no filter/intake??

Sure do appreciate everyone's take.....

Thanks,
Bob
