Had the barons kit installed. Wanted to stick with the tear drop look.
What they didn't tell me, and what I assumed was that there would be a cover that went on behind the air cleaner.
Now all the wires and throttle are exposed and looks like shit. Looks like I forgot to put something on. It's about a 5in gap.
Then I find out almost all other intakes come with a cover (S&S, L/M, etc) because they know it looks like shit without it. Hell, even the stock has a cover behind it.
I was wondering if anyone has done anything with this to cover the gap.
I was thinking of trying to modify the old stock cover. I am not very talented with these kinds of things.
I welcome any and all suggestions. I also called Barons and they are not working on a cover yet.

The Accutronix Throttle Body Cover & Air Cleaner adapter are available separately, not sold as a kit, just for this reason. Therefore, all you need to do is purchase our Throttle Body Cover & hide that ugly rascal.

You have the Accutronix one listed above and then you have the L&M adapter. Nothing against Accutronix, but even theirs doesn't cover up that whole area, only one I have seen that does is the L&M adapter, but then you're looking at $180 plus S&H which for me was $16 and then it could cost you more depending on if you want it chromed, which I believe is another $100, just depends on how much of that area you want covered up. And if I read your statement right mrbyber you're wrong, L&M's force air intake doesn't come with it but you can buy their whole package deal for $385 plus S&H. Hope this helps and clarifies some stuff.

Well I don't think Dave meant any disrespect as you make a nice product also, I just think it comes down to what intake you like and how much of that area you want covered up. Since mrbyber already has that intake and apparently likes it he would be better off going with your cover, now if we were talking about a spike then I would suggest L&M, the spike leaves that area more open than a Baron's.

I also have the Barons BAK. Do you know if anyone has used that combination yet? I just want to make sure there are no interference issues. The front plate of the Barons filter is bolted on from behind

I have been wrong in the past, & I will be wrong in the future, but I will say this anyway.

I'm not knocking the L&M unit. It has its place as does mine. They both mount & look different.

I do not think the L&M cover will work with the air cleaner in question because they both mount onto the stock rubber boot.

My cover does not mount to the rubber boot. I know of two people that have used my Throttle Body Cover with the air cleaner in question so I think they will work together.

Thanks for all the help people!
I think I will try the accutronix cover. I think I would like it to come down the sides more but looks like that's the only choice I got. I gotta stick with the barons because my knee rests against it. The s&s sticks out more then the stock and the spike is cool but not my style.
I thought the L&M came with the cover but I was looking at the black adapter.
And pics would be cool as Richard requested?

Here are photos of a Barons BIG Air cleaner on a FURY with the Accutronix Throttle Body Cover.

No Air Cleaner Adapter is needed with the Barons BIG Air cleaner, but the Accutronix Throttle Body cover helps clean up the area around the air cleaner IMHO.
