Is the flasher for the turn signals the little black box unit on the rt side the bike looking from the rear and right in front of the back wheel, next to the rear spring? it says DOT on it and refers to max amount of bulbs.

I bought this Big Bike Parts flasher module for leds. It has 3 wires going into it and what I think is the flasher has only 2 that I can see. Is this an issue or am I not even looking at the flasher at all.
