ok, the question raises fo anybody that has got the tiny little wind screen for the fury. me and some guys is plannin a lonngg trip this summer out west, grand canyon, vegas, cali, etc etc.. starting point, is louisiana. so yeah, a long ride.. im considering the possibility of getting that little ol wind screen just for me trip, but it don't look like it would do any good. at all. i ride wit a novelty bucket only (i know, stupid move) and perscription riding glasses. so my face is always exposed. louisiana is notorious for the bugs in the summer at night, and they are brutal! i always get murdered while my buddies wit windshields laugh at me. so, in short, does the fury's little ol puny windshield make any sorta difference to whats hitting u in the face? on a ride like we making, we plan to push it. not stop every 10 min to clean my face off.. thanks.

If you're coming all the way out west, you better get a REAL windshield, a bigger, softer seat, and a flat, plastic, 1-gallon gas container to carry in your backpack. It's cheaper and more expedient to do all this before you leave home, rather than 500 miles down the road, when you hit your (or your buddies) limit of tolerance! LOL.

Cheers

Memphis Shades has a quick disconnect for the Fury. I think I have decided to get that one for the long hauls.

cool, seems the memphis quick detach would be the way to go, if i were to get one.. oh and BARFURY, we gonna have a chase car with us to haul stuff in, plus my girlfriend has health issues and can't stay on a bike that long at a time, and yeah i have thought allll about the gas can, etc.. as far as the seat goes, believe it or not, the stocker is fine by me.. its quite comfortable to me.. granted i haven't taken a 5000 mile trip on it yet, but i have taken quite a few shorter rides (5 to 8oo mi) and it didn't phase me.. the seat is not the issue at hand.. im just wondering bout the windshield. and it seems that the little OEM screen just ain't worth it to buy... thanks for the input, peoples!
