I was thinking about the windscreen after I was getting peppered with sand during a ride last week. Glad I didn't go that route after reading the above. The bike probably will not look good at all with a bigger screen on it.

I installed the windscreen, it doesn't do alot, and more air comes in low around the tank, but looking at it this mornig it did kill alot of bugs this week, so did my helmet visor tho. Also the instuction sheet is about worthless too

Just a thought, paint the windshield to match the bike's color. Then use it as added canvas for more custom graphics (Ghost Skull, Flames, etc.).

Not sure if it'll look good. Is anyone good with photoshop?

i have the windshield, installed it and have ridden a couple hundred miles with it,first off it doesn't give you the protection of a big screen but it does help some. i drive to work round trip 60 miles, have been doing the trip on my cruiser with medium windshield for years. then i rode the fury without a screen till a few weeks ago- im glad i installed it, added to the comfort level at least 10 miles per hour.

Personally I thinking the small wind screens on the market right now are horrible looking. Also they don't look like they do much. I would love to have one a little taller with a quick release to use for long trips. Riding 5 or 6 hours with the wind beating you to death is not fun. It would have to be very easy to remove though. "Choppers" were not built for wind screens

Talk to 2011MatteOrange about a windshield, he was making some, but you have to provide your own mounting hardware so just look for something that's quick release, he's doing them very cheaply compared to what the big vendors are charging for them, work talking to him about anyways.

I have the windscreen installed. being a little shorter than average it dose seem to take some of the wind off your chest/shoulders still get blasts everyonce in a while but for me I am glad I got it

Hence the terms Windscreen vs Windshield

the one term they should use on it is a Winddelfector which would be more appropirate
