Thanks guys..

jaydrumz: I payed $250 to PC the pair.. but the whole process cost about $700..

The dealer is where I had to pay.. the cost of un-mounting and re-mounting the tires (not removing wheels, as I did that myself), replacement bearings, seals and exhaust gaskets... added up. (I actually didn't have to use the exhaust gaskets.. So far no popping and this is with my baffles out.)

Included in the cost was getting a motorcycle jack since i didn't have one..

But If you can find somebody to umount your tires, you can save cash.. I know somebody at a local bike shop but he hurt his back that week.. So i had to work with the dealer...

But overall I'm pretty happy with the end results..

Realllllllyyy sharp! I love the "either chrome or black" type theme that you have goin there! That's what I was thinking for my own whip someday when I'm ready to start unique-ifying her. (of course mine would be everything either chrome or blue :) )

Once again, though: Lookinnn sweet!
My favorite part is the little things, the little details like having your air cleaner element black. Awesome.

Bike looks good, I am still going back and forth between PC and chrome. You took some good clear pics so I hope you don't mind that I did a quick photoshop to see what it would look like with a black motor with polished fins. The motor needs to be a little darker but it gets the point across.

IMHO i would loose the plate location. It make the bike look more like the bike it should be. I like the look of the battery covers painted to match the color of the bike. Again, IMO it brings the focus into the chrome engine location.

I really, really like the black on black. And im not a big fan on black wheels on cars and trucks.

Well all it needs now is some black lower forks and trees and maybe the black pipes. I think the black forks and trees would really set it apart. And like mental said the main body of the head light could look good also. Any chance of getting a PS of those?

Keep up the great work guys!

Hey Guys,

It's been a while since I last posted.. I've been mostly lurking..

But here's an update on my bike..

*T-Mod done..
*Mirrors--I went to Arlen Ness to pick those up..(I was kinda drooling at the Arlen Ness Streamliner while I was there)..
*Harley Style Grips..
*Kuryakyn Engine Covers ---I'm not crazy about them.. So I just ordered a set from forum member Smiley

That's pretty much it for now. I'm trying to keep it simple..

Future updates:
*I'm thinking about powder coating my front forks black (But I dunno,
I like the machine look of the forks right now.. I don't want to black
everything out)..
*Swap out the front fender for the L&M..
*3" Stretched the forward controls...
*And I need to fix my seat.. it sticks due to the T-mod..

Anyway, Thanks for looking..
