I just wanted to thank all of you for costing me so much money. You guys post your pictures and give all your good advice...how can I resist modifying my Fury? First it was the Cobra exhaust and the Fi2000r which I ordered the same day I bought my bike. Then of course you absolutely have to remove the reflectors and stickers. Next I am getting ready to put on some red LED underglow, which I think will look pretty cool under my black bike. AND just yesterday I ordered those Kuryakyn Deep Dish Bezels with smoke lenses for my turn signals. After seeing them on a few of your bikes, I just couldn't stand to look at those ugly orange lenses anymore. I know this is just the beginning and it's already costing me a LOT of money. So, once again, thanks to all of you for pics and advice...and if you'd like to donate to the "Steveo Fury Mod Fund", please let me know.:D

Yea, it's gotten to the point that I have about $4,000.00 planned in more mods. The fat tire kit is already ordered and am planning some airbush work for the bike when the new fender comes in.

Wow! That's a lot of money invested into a brand new bike. We take a $13,000 bike and spend thousands more in customizing it to fit our tastes. Are we doing this to satisfy our selves or to put do the other guys? You can actually buy a fully customized Ironhorse, all cromed out for around $20,000. As I am guilty of the same, I have a black Fury and have customized it a bit and have many more plans. I would just like some imput from the rest of you about it. Lord knows the aftermarket companies have got a boost on sales with the Fury alone since it was unleashed.

Thanks my friends for your input..

My thinking is that I could go out and buy a Big Dog that looks awesome, but rides rough, or I could buy the fury and make it my own. For me, half the fun is making mine different from every other fury that rides out of a dealership. I already have changed the exhaust, intake, front and rear signals, plate location, grips, mirrors, pegs, and radiator grill. After the fat tire kit and some custom paint I'll be done for a while (until some other good ideas hit me).

Hey Chopped,

I agree with you 100%. The Fury is a chopper that rides like a luxury car and of course very dependable, that was my reasoning for getting the Fury from the start. Your bike looks awsome I must say, keep up the good work.

Yikes! I hit the edit button instead of the quote :D

Off topic, if you are installing the Fat Tire kit from SumoX, are you selling the RawDesign rear taillight? If so, shoot me a pm ;)
