Hello everyone!

Well here is my story...I had a slow day at work and and was on Harley's website looking at the HD Rocker I have been saving up for. I was interested in seeing if any of the "big four" was making anything close to that design. I visited Honda's page last and there the Fury was. I was shocked to see that type of bike on Honda's page.

So I went crazy looking up any info I could find on the Fury and came across FuryForums. I think I read almost everything on the site in a couple of days! I was skeptical of the Fury at first, but reading everything on here, I became a big fan of the machine. I told my fiancé to take a look at the bike online and she too loved it.

Well all of that was last Wednesday....I bought a Blue Fury Saturday afternoon! The dealer in Boone NC had a black one and a blue one so I decided to take my fiance up to look at it in person. Thats all it took! Rode it 50 miles back home to Morganton NC through the Appalachian Mountians. Wow, what a first ride!

I am a sport bike rider and this is my first cruiser. I have rode my fiance's Boulevard some over the past 9 months though. I was very suprised at how the Fury handled Hwy 181 down the mountian. The bike is agile! Stock pipes sound better than I expected but ordered a set of Cobra Swept pipes before I left the dealer.

I just wish the winter would hold off a couple more months now! Seriously, all the positive info on this site was a big help in making my desicion and just wanted to say thank you to all the posters because I am very happy with this bike!

Here is a pic of the Fury and her Boulevard

There goes the neighborhood.. :)

It's all good.:). enjoy and once again welcome..
Yep, the neighbors love when it when you head out in the morning. Don't really know why but their car alarm seems extra sensitive to the sound the bikes makes when the engine is reved -- their alarm goes off. :D:D

The family and I are going to trailer our bikes(blue fury, VTX), up to Brevard, NC in late October. Got any suggestions on where to ride? Been up there lots of times by car, but never with bikes. Any suggestions would be appreciated. THX and welcome.

Hi Furygirl,

Great time of year to come to the area! You will have great views of the foliage changing color. Late October will be a little past the peak colors but still will be a very good time to visit. Seeing you have been to the area before, you probably know Brevard is only about 15 miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s a cruisers road through the Pisgah National Forrest with mostly 45 MPH roads and goes forever with amazing views.

Brevard is also about 10 miles from the DuPont National Forrest and Caesar’s Head State Park. Great mountain views and absolutely amazing waterfalls. Definitely worth a trip on the Fury there! Stop by the Caesar’s Head visitor’s center to pick up a map of the waterfalls and jump on the motorcycle to ride to them. Bring a camera! My fiancé and I are planning to take some engagement pictures there sometime in October.

Brevard is about 40 miles from Lake Lure, right up Hwy 64 (great drive too!). This area will be in the peak for bright foliage color. Great restaurants and usually a large group of motorcycles in the area.

And finally, from Brevard you will officially be 113 miles from Deals Gap and the legendary Tail of the Dragon. 11 miles worth of 318 curves across the North Carolina and Tennessee mountains. Ranked as one of the best rides in North America…just watch out for misdirected tractor trailer trucks!!!

I will keep my eye out for a lady on a fury and maybe we will see you around!

Great story there...welcome to the FURY world...there are some great guys/gals on here and very helpful in any way...I put out a thread about wanting the right/front turn signal probably a week ago...I had a couple reply's and then Fury sent me both front turn signals (he replaced his with new aftermarkets) he did not charge me ANYTHING...not even shipping...what a great guy that is....he just asked that I repay the deed to another fury owner...and I assured him I would...This group on the fury forum have helped me with anything I asked...great advice and great people...
You will love it here...mark
