Pretty good read on Motorcycle.com. Plenty of love for the Fury. By the way, will that bigger front tire on the Stryker fit the Fury?

Don't know how to attach the article so you will have to go to Motorcycle.com website. If anyone can attach the article, please do so for others. Thanks.........

2012 Honda Fury vs. 2011 Yamaha Star Stryker [Video] - Motorcycle.com

Is this the article?

“Ultimately, the Stryker is a more well-rounded motorcycle, with slightly better handling, braking and rider comfort along with its considerable $2000 price advantage,” Duke says.

“But if the object of this comparo is to find the best factory custom chopper, the Fury’s graceful proportions and shapes make it easily the most desirable machine in this class.”

Not really, its closer to the Sabre, The Stateline has the same size tires front and back, way more like a Fatboy style bike

I love my Stateline, rode it today on errand and got a ton of looks and compliments. As low and long as the bike is it really reminds me of the bikes made in the 30s-40s.

I found mention of the Stryker on Facebook and went to look. Really don't like it as much as my Fury. The only thing I wish Honda had done was metal fenders. Otherwise, I'm not giving mine up.

Hey, I got the chance to go and test demo one of the Strykers. I'm impressed. The rake is right there with the Fury and the thing is a lot more maneuverable. It was like riding a normal bike. The Fury has always seemed to me more like a chopper in the way it turns. Don't get me wrong I ain't giving up my Fury. Yamaha needs to improve the styling of the bike and lengthen the foot controls. Felt tucked up like on a sport bike. If they get the styling better it would be a harder choice if starting again.

Also, I got a free set of Oakleys for my time. I was on the mailing list from registering to win a free one.

Good article.....but no way would I trade my Fury....one thing that is the shaft drive....I'll never go back to a belt or chain again.....been out on the road and had a chain break in Florida half way between Destin and Panama City...sucks..... Then years later had a belt break on another bike in Tallahassee on I-10 thats sucked also....Both happen without any warning or any problems the belt was only 2 months old....

I don't get why everybody makes such a big deal out of the plastic fenders on the Fury. Can anybody tell going down the road that the bike has plastic fenders?? Big deal I love my Fury plastic fenders and all. I rode my buddys Stryker and it does handle a bit better and has a much more comfortable seat but looks wise there is really no comparison the Fury has it hands down!!:D

I am not a fan of the Stryker. Sat on one at a dealer a few weeks back and i felt like i was leaning back. The seat was nice a plush. I agree that a better comparison would he with the Sabre. The plastic senders don't bother me at all, makes it lighter and cheaper.

The Fury is in a class of its own when compared to these bikes. The fury has much better "chopper" lines and these are still more of the same old same old that other brads are building. I like some of the features, but not compared to the Fury.
