Yep, I got one.
During its dyno testing, the tech took the filter out to see if it was causing the torque dip at 4.25krpm. Ha Ha, the graph looked the same with the filter out.
So this told us the filter was giving the engine all the air it needed.
Turns out the torque dip is caused by the spark not being advanced any more starting at 4.25krpm.
So, after saying all this, I definitely like my kury velo intake. I left off the outer grill. Here's a pic of it:
