LOL Yeah, I figured you had already fixed that as you were just awfully sick about the incident. It is a beautiful old school chopper. I'm sure you've turned quite a few heads rolling down the road on that thing. My most favorite thing about it, other than that springer, is the wheels. Those spokes are really cool looking. Can't haul very many chickens around with it though, I'll bet, so what good is it?Well Good Granny I wanted to show you a beautiful, cool old school chopper..and what do you say?? where's the scratches?? I should have took pics of my bruises on my back and elbow for you...LOL!LOL!
But seriously...I've done fixed them, replaced the primary derby cover it took most of the damage, polished a scratch on the left side of tank, and that is why I replaced the hand grips(scuffed the left one)plus I didn't really like the other one that much. I'm gonna replace the headlight with a small round one(it didn't get damaged) I just think it would look better. Hope you like the bike Goat, I remembered You and Stephen wanting to see pics of it! So this thread was done for Ya'll and I hope everyone enjoys it!!
And to be honest I liked to watch Nascar just to see the wrecks, there I said it, I'm not worthy to judge any man....
I meant to quote Goat but something went wrong!LOL!
A great looking bike for sure! I can see it is all fun. I bet even putting thread locker on everything is still fun. Thanks for posting the pics.
I love that saying of Sugar Bear's, in fact I like it so much I modified it to "if it's not chrome, it's wrong".Give a man fish you feed him for a day.....teach a man to fish and you feed him for life! Humbly I Thank You Rope, I've always pulled my hair trying to post pics. You've helped me greatly Brother!!!
I hope ya'll enjoy the pics! She is one sweet bike! 117 cu. inches, 6 speed Ultima trans. Sinister engraved Chrome Wheels,Paucho Frame,All stainless steel hoses and cables,GMA Forwards and brakes. And of course The sweet Sugar Bear Front end with #4 Rockers, and if you look closely those are the hand grips from my Fury!
10' and 6" long....as Sugar Bear says "If it ain't long it's wrong"!
Thanks again Rope for you help,if not for you I couldn't share with my family..means a lot to me!!!!
Pics or it didn't happen..LOL! Oh yeah it's brown metal flake it sparkles in the sun.
I sure wouldn't want to have to stop quick,it would probably slide the rear tire before it slowed you down..but under normal stopping it works pretty good..but being that I'm still getting use to it, I start dropping gears and breaking to get her stopped. No doubt a disc is stronger than a drum,I rode one with drum last year and that was plum scary..I was doing a Fred Flintstone! This Bike seems a lot heavier than the Fury but you don't feel the weight until you start slowing it down. It is very well balance to and steers extremely easy. The Frame is extremely low to the ground and you have to really be careful not to hang up on things...that what got me in trouble.. LOL!A great looking bike for sure! I can see it is all fun. I bet even putting thread locker on everything is still fun. Thanks for posting the pics.
How does it stop with no front brake? :confuzed:
I don't know if you like the idea of using a normal spring seat with an air spring, the way Indian Larry did. The air springs are not expensive and you can pick up a dual set from TC Bros for $174.99. You could always put the king and queen back on for shows and save your back in between.Thank you Hedgehog for setting these pics back up! I was chasing these pics in a circle on this iPad,every time I turned it the screen would go the other way..lol! Made m dizzy! I let some air outta the rear tire to help my spine not sure if it really makes a difference but I keep telling myself it does!
I do like the idea, first time I’ve seen air springs like that,I like them. I thought about the regular springs but figured I’d get bucked off! I thought about wearing diapers for a little padding and in case of emergencies... kind of a dual purpose solution...just care a spare!Lol!I don't know if you like the idea of using a normal spring seat with an air spring, the way Indian Larry did. It's the kind of bike that is best left parked in the living room most of the time.Sweeeet ride...until ridden...LOL My back would kill me after a few miles...
Thank you Dave! She’s definitely not built for comfort but you gotta sacrifice something. I’ve been spoiled by the comfort of the Fury,it’s as different as day and night...but she’s a lot of fun! Let her set in the living room...I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that Goat, bikes are built to be ridden,if you ain’t gonna ride them you mine as well hang a picture of one on the wall to look at it...a pic would be cheaper but you wouldn’t be free. I’m gonna live the dream man while I’m able! You don’t get to old to ride...you get old because you quit riding!Very cool ride right there!
^^^For the win!You don’t get to old to ride...you get old because you quit riding!
